What is copyediting?
Where proofreading simply checks for spelling and grammar errors in a written document, copyediting (also known as ‘copy editing’ or ‘copy-editing’) is a more intensive service that incorporates formatting, style consistency and TOV (‘Tone of Voice’). Words and sentences may be modified to improve the overall syntax – this could involve a few minor tweaks, or substantial editing of the original document.
Put simply, copyediting a document will make it “sound better”.
It can be likened to waving a magic wand over your words to transform them into something more professional, more engaging or more concise.

Simply email me a digital file of your work and I will provide a specific quote to include the total time and cost for the project. If you agree, I’ll copyedit your work and email back an amended version to you as soon as possible. Easy!
Payment is due within 14 days of completion. I accept payments via PayPal or bank transfer. Small jobs can be booked through Fiverr.com
How much will it cost?
Copyediting is a more time-intensive service that takes at least twice as long as basic proofreading.
